We see women and men of different age group every day, from young people in their teens to women and men in their 70s.
But there is one thing in common – everyone wants to look younger. The universal request we get from our clients on a daily basis is – I want to look younger. What should I do?
Let us give you some tips on how to maintain your youth.
This is probably the most neglected yet the most important part of all. We can do a lot of treatment for you but if you don’t have a healthy lifestyle, nothing is going to help.
Healthy diet plays an important role in keeping your skin healthy and youthful. Avoid fatty food, junk food and sugary soft drinks.
Allocate your time for exercise at least 3 times a week. Exercise improves blood circulation to your skin, bringing more essential nutrients and hydration to your skin.
Have adequate sleep. Chronic lack of sleep makes you look saggy, wrinkly with eye bags and dark eye circle. You will age quicker if you don’t sleep enough.
Avoid smoking and excessive alcohol. They make your skin age quicker.
There are 2 things that you must have if you want to maintain your youth – Sunscreen and moisturizer.
Sunscreen is the most important skin care essential. UV ray from the sun causes sunburns, pigmentation, premature skin aging and leads to skin cancer. Basically, it damages your skin.
Invest in a good sunscreen that protects you from UVA and UVB.
Moisturizer keeps the skin well hydrated. Well hydrated skin looks younger and healthier. It slows down the skin ageing process.
Besides sunscreen and moisturizer, remember to keep your face clean. Wash your face twice a day. All the dirt, dust and foreign substances on your face may make your facial skin dry, clogged up and irritated. Get rid of them when you get home after a long day. Do not sleep with your make-up on because it will damage your skin.
